Therapy for you and your relationships

Individual, couples, and family sessions in Oakland and online across California. Explore care for the challenges you are facing, at a pace that works for you.

Care That Feels Human

There is no single way to begin. Some people arrive with a clear goal; others only know something feels hard. We’ll help you find a starting point and choose an approach that fits your needs.

Individual Therapy

For anxiety, trauma, burnout, grief, or a life transition, individual therapy gives you time to make sense of what is happening and what you need. Together, we can notice patterns, build practical ways to cope, and make room for a steadier relationship with yourself. Individual sessions are $200.

Couple's Therapy

When conversations keep turning into the same argument—or stop happening at all—therapy can help you slow the cycle and hear each other differently. We support partners working through conflict, trust, transitions, and disconnection. Couples sessions are $250.

Family Therapy

Families bring different histories, needs, and hopes into the same room. Therapy offers space to listen across those differences, work through recurring conflict, and build more workable ways to connect. Family sessions are $250.

What Therapy Feels Like at Everwell

We’ll check in about what is useful and adjust as your needs change. Your questions, preferences, and pace matter throughout our work together.

Therapeutic Approaches

Thoughtful, evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s unique experiences, relationships, and healing journey.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused approach that helps the brain process overwhelming or distressing experiences in a safer, more manageable way. We move at a pace that feels right for you, supporting your nervous system as you gently work through painful memories and build a greater sense of stability and resilience.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) explores the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we gently notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck and practice new ways of relating to your inner world that feel more supportive, grounded, and aligned with how you want to live.

IFS

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate, non-pathologizing approach that views you as made up of many ‘parts,’ each with its own story and role. In therapy, we get to know these parts with curiosity and care, helping them feel more understood, less burdened, and more connected to your core self.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you build a different relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than fighting or avoiding them. We focus on what matters most to you and support you in taking gentle, values-aligned steps toward a life that feels more meaningful and authentic.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative Therapy invites you to explore the stories you have carried about yourself, your relationships, and your past. Together, we look at where those stories came from and begin to shape new, more compassionate narratives that honor your resilience, complexity, and lived experience.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

A trauma-informed approach means we move with care, consent, and respect for your nervous system and lived experiences. We prioritize emotional safety, choice, and collaboration, honoring your pace and your inner wisdom as we work together.

Mindfulness-Based Approaches

Mindfulness-based approaches gently support you in building more awareness, presence, and compassion toward yourself. We may incorporate grounding, breathwork, or simple awareness practices to help you feel more anchored in your body and more resourced in moments of stress or overwhelm.

You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone

Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and you do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. At Everwell Therapy P.C., we are here to meet you with compassion, authenticity, and care — every step of the way.
